PASIGHAT, Oct 14: The Placement Cell of Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNC), Pasighat, in collaboration with ICICI Bank and with the support of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organised a webinar on career opportunities in the banking sector under the theme "Learn - Grow - Build Your Future" on Tuesday.

The webinar aimed to familiarise students with career prospects in the banking industry, particularly the recruitment opportunities and professional growth avenues offered by ICICI Bank.

The resource persons, Mr. Loknath Mondal, HR Manager; Mr. Arijit Chatterjee, HR Team; and Mr. Projeet Haldar, Regional Head, ICICI Bank, shared insights into the role of Relationship Manager (Sales), eligibility criteria, recruitment procedures, training programmes and future career prospects in the banking sector.

The session also featured an interactive discussion, during which students raised queries and sought clarification on various aspects of recruitment and employment opportunities. The resource persons addressed their concerns and provided valuable guidance to help them better understand the requirements and prospects of pursuing a career in banking.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Riken Kaye, Coordinator of the Placement Cell, while Dr. Nang Rasami Thamoung, Co-coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks.

The organising committee expressed its gratitude to Dr. Gindu Borang, Principal; Dr. Leki Sitang, Vice Principal; and Dr. D. P. Panda, IQAC Coordinator, JNC, for their continued support and encouragement in facilitating career-oriented initiatives for students.
