PASIGHAT, Oct 1: Under Operation Sadbhavana, troops of Spear Corps organised a felicitation ceremony at Veteran Seva Kendra, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, on 30 September 2026 to recognise the achievements of local youth in competitive examinations and skill development.

The ceremony celebrated 17 aspirants who successfully secured selection through the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB). Their achievement marked an important milestone towards meaningful career opportunities and reflected their dedication, perseverance and sustained preparation.

The occasion also recognised 41 youth from three batches who successfully completed IT and Hospitality courses conducted at Veteran Seva Kendra under the SeVaA initiative. The courses focused on imparting relevant vocational skills, enhancing employability and enabling the participants to pursue sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The young achievers were felicitated for their accomplishments and encouraged to continue striving for excellence. The interaction also provided an opportunity to share guidance on career development, skill enhancement and the importance of sustained effort and self-belief.

The SeVaA initiative under Operation Sadbhavana reflects the Indian Army’s continued commitment towards education, skill development and youth empowerment in Arunachal Pradesh. By transforming skills into opportunities and aspirations into achievements, such initiatives seek to empower young citizens to contribute meaningfully to their families, communities and the Nation.
